PCOS

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), also known as Stein-Leventhal Syndrome is one of the most common hormonal endocrine disorders in women. If undetected, PCOS can increase risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. This animation demonstrates the onset of the disorder and how the reproductive system is affected in the process.
